    Boat trailer sticker

    I just got my renewal form for my Ranger trailer and it’s says $154.00..I thought the fee was supposed to be lowered. Anyone else pay this year. Mine is a tandem trailer

    I think Illinois only lowered the "TA" plates fee. Single axle under 3000 lb.

    Buy the ST plate. One time $19 and never buy a sticker again. Even if you have to buy a C plate for your truck it's still cheaper.

    If he has a TA plate for the trailer...

    1)His trailer is 3000lbs or under. Doubtful for a tandem

    2) His registrations has the wrong weight on it.

    3) The state screwed up.

    Two trailers over 3000 so I get bit twice.

    Because it actually did go down for the TA plates this year.

    Last year legislation was passed to reduce the TA plate fee, but not the TBs and above.

    Would be nice if Illinois had a Recreational series of trailer plates for seasonal trailers at a reduced cost vs just a standard commercial trailer plate.

    No idea. BassCat P2 on a dual axle trailer. It was 154 last year then dropped to 34 this year.
    What is the weight listed on the trailer registration?

    I went to renew mine since it expired in 2020 and the guy told me I need a new plate and the fee was $48 from May to June then I have to register it again at $154 starting June 1st. Therefore my 2020 plates will be on there a few more days until June 1st.

    Got my renewal also at $154.00 , so I went to the DMV yesterday and they sold me TA plates for my Ranger at $36.00. Now I don’t feel like I’m being robbed as bad lol

    Is there a size/weight limit on who can or can’t run the T/A plates? I’ve got a 21’ boat and tandem axle trailer.
