Solix SI left side going Dark

So this keeps happening to me, my left side on SI keeps going out, I have had it fixed 3 times, everytime I get it back it works perfect for about an hour and it blacks out. HB fixed each time (expensive) but something has to
be causing it to happen. Anyone have this issue or know the proble?

How was it fixed? Transducer replacement or did you send your Solix in for repair? Is your transducer mounted on the right side of your transom?(Starboard) That info can help for a possible solution. Bob

Yea it’s not transducer bought a new one and plugged someone else’s in to check it. Sent Solix in for repair each time. From what I took is some how something gets pretty much fried in it.

Sounds like some kind of power issue. What does Humminbird tell you they did and what did they suggest? Hope you have not paid the $800+ each time. Bob

Sounds like they need to replace the unit itself rather than repair it. I can't imagine any external factor that would cause this.

I'm having the same trouble with my Solix 15. I'm still looking to do a swap with another Solix to determine if my problem is the unit or transducer. I agree with what you say about Humminbird...they don't tell you a whole lot.

Yea it’s frustrating, they fix it and that’s it. Don’t really tell you why it’s doing it

Does the fee Humminbird charges for testing your graph just cover labor? Parts extra?

Their charges are flat rate unless it is physical damage(broken glass, case or water inside) Those are case by case at times.
