Apex/Solix transducers

I'm doing a bit of research on the Apex and I've heard that they run the same transducer. Apparently the Solix comes with the XM 14 MSI T. But the Apex comes with the XM 14"HW" MSI. Does anyone know the difference between the two and whether or not the Apex can use the one that comes with the Solix as rumored?

To my knowledge, the Solix G2, Solix G3, and Apex all use the same transducer. Solix G1 is definitely different.

There is no such transducer as XM 14 MSI T.
They have a 2D designation, either 20 for 83/200 kHz or HW for High Wide CHIRP or 74 for 50/200 kHz.
The 20 is for the first generation SOLIX.
The HW is for the second and third generation SOLIX and APEX.
The 74 is for deep water all SI models.
