Weak sonar/ SI missing data on Solix

Hey Humminbird gurus, I'm having issues with my Solix 15. First, my SI recently started to only show a small strip of data on the port side and extremely dim. The starboard side is completely normal. Second, the detail on my DI and sonar have diminished from when they were new. I can see the bottom just fine but fish and structure detail is missing. Does this sound like a transducer problem? Humminbird wants $819 to test my graph. My graph is just out of warranty. Anybody have these problems? The lack of detail is obvious compared to my Solix 12 on the bow.

Have you swapped the units to see if it’s the transducer or the unit?

If both units are SI modes, swap units to see where the SI issue is.
You can check DI and 2D the same way if both are not SI models.

I'll try the swap for the DI/2D but the bow unit is not SI.

If you can tell if the transducer is bad it will prevent a waste of time and money sending the unit in. You just need to buy a new transducer. About Half the cost of repairing the unit an more than likely you will be good to go in a few days. Good pay for about 15 minutes work.
