Anyone fished here lately? Taking the boat up to the chicago area for four days if fishing. Planning Heidecke tomorrow, Lake MI harbors Sun, then play by ear. Any suggestions? My son has never caught a smallie so that's the main target.

Almost all the shoreline is riprap...if the water temps haven't skyrocketed, always a good shot at getting a few...my favorite thing about the lake is the really nice ramp set-up...weekends get busy for sure
