Got a call this morning from one of my crews, mower quit working on them and would not start again. Called another guy who was on a different job site a few blocks away who also turns some wrenches for me to go look at it and see what the issue was. He calls me and says engine is shot, absolutely zero compression. Load up one of the spare mowers to run down there to drop off.
Get a call on my way from yet another crew. Hydraulic line blew on our stump grinder. Told him to work on some cleanup and I’d be there in 20 minutes. 5 minutes later I get another call, they went to move the grinder and because the line was blown it allowed the head to swing to the side pretty quickly, the machine rolled
Drop off the new mower, swing down to the second job, give them a little extra ass to help get the grinder rolled over upright, take the hose off, get a replacement made, put the hose back on, then I had to go figure out how to load a 950# non running mower into my dump trailer, by myself.
