2035 seems awfully aggressive to phase out combustion engine vehicles. Considering the size of Ca.

It boogles a normal persons mind. The ability to reason has been replaced by stupidity.

The EV loading is not really that significant, the bigger issue is the lack of water. They likely will just have to buy more power from the PNW like they usually do in the summer.

The west should have been getting their water from the ocean years and years ago. They would have it worked out by now.

Cali has not been able to keep the lights on in the summer for years now because of its inability to supply enough power to the grid. Who woulda thunk that making all the cars electric and needing to be charged would exacerbate the problem? Answer, sane people would.

Desalinization takes a lot of power, which they don't have enough of so they would be trading one problem for another.

California has had electrical problems for years between not enough power or having to turn off power because of fire danger etc. Why have they not been working on this for the past decade? Moving powerline in fire prone areas underground and building new power plants or drastically increasing green energy?

We should have abundant, reliable electricity nation wide except that we let environmental extremists make the calls.
