It looks really close so I thought I would ask here first.
I have a carbon 12 on a BBT mount on my 20 Margay. As for putting it in the dash I don't know. I prefer the BBT mount rather than cutting glass.
I did something similar with a Carbon 12 on my Margay. Precision Sonar. Loved it. I actually regret doing the dual mount style console on my P2.Originally Posted by llsdjv

Well I sat down and gave it a good look today. While i'm sure I could make it work I don't think it would be a good idea.
I know companies make good mounts, but does anyone make a nice plate to cover my current 9" Garmin hole?
Call BBT, Precision sonar maybe geigertech. I believe any of then can help you. I use a Sherms mount at the console but he stays overwhelmed. Call him as well

I used to think I wanted duals. My buddy has a Puma it had dual 12's. I thought it looked gaudy. Later he went big with a single 16. Looked many times better. It was mounted on a precion sonar mount(appeared to sit lower than the 12's. Looked many times better. For me I just prefer a single 12

The Geigertec dash mount will cover that hole
Just an update, I spent a lot of time and effort making a dash mount. When I was done I just didn't like the way it came out. It looked redneck.
I got the courage and cut the dash to fit it and it came out great.
So if anyone is wondering, yes a Garmin 106sv will fit in the Margay dash. It just fits.
