    Wire Gauge size Question

All. I hope everyone is well. I am about to rewire my boat. My biggest question is what gauge wire to use for the live wells, lights, etc. I am also installing live scope during this fun adventure. I was thinking about adding a switch on my panel for the box. I hear they drain battery. Figured while on plane I can ditch the power to the box. Anyone have any thoughts on this?

Most pumps will use a 12 or 14 gauge wire (12 being the better choice)
As for lights 14awg is my choice

Use tinned wire and cover all connections with heat shrink (Adhesive lined heat shrink is best)

Invest in a good crimp tool

Yes the GLS10 does draw a small amount of power even with the graph turned off
I did the same and added a switch on the dash for this

Can add a switch to kill power but the drain is small and if you are on plane you would be charging anyways if only using 1 battery for electronics and cranking
    Fish have fins, they swim
