The food prices are high but don’t seem out of line, $14 for a cheeseburger. I’ve paid a lot more than that in Vegas but it was high end beef.

I'm going to the Open next month. Guess I'll plan to get wasted in the parking lot and maintain my buzz all day. Never been to a PGA event before so I'm practicing my cheers. After every drive it's, "Get in the hole!"

Then when it's kinda quiet I yell, "Baba Ganoush." Any others?
Baba Bouey is what you need to yell right after contact is made on a swing.

Or "The price is wrong Bob."

This fascination of getting buzzed/ drunk on just about every activity out there boggles the mind! Can people not have fun and enjoy themselves without partaking?

Wasn't there a discussion here a few weeks about the "best activity" beer? I recall a grill beer as being #1 and a shower beer coming in a close 2nd.

Here’s another Gem of BBC Humor.

It’s a good thing I’m not sitting around drinking cheap Beer to protest the PGA or would have missed it.

Wonder if the scores were zeroed at the Masters if Greg Norman would have self destructed as bad as he did with a huge lead?

Going to PGAChampionship. Yep, ticket was $200 plus but we purchased Championship Tickets. All food and non alcoholic drinks free all day. At the report of the prices, I'm thinking We may come out ahead.

Military Members can get 2 complimentary tickets to most PGA events. We went to the Shriners open in LV a few years ago. They have a tent setup with free food and a place to sit and watch over a few holes. It was very cool. Even got 2 tix for a few beers. They didnt have it for COVID reasons last years but I will see if I can get them again this year.

Sorry, but $14 is too expensive for a cheeseburger no matter where it is. It's simple greed. I know, I know, they have the right to charge what they want and if people will pay it..blah, blah, blah. Either way, it's still plain old greed. Same with the bottle water and beer prices.
