Where are the relays located? New/seperate issue.

might replace ignition switch.....

might replace kill switch

Motor starts and runs fine.... Almost always... Sometimes acts like kill switch is pulled. Kill switch does not work.

This electrical gremlin needs to die....

Two cylinder or three cylinder? Model number would help on parts location Mike.
relays should be in box on back side of block on the three cylinders and on the right side of the block on the two cylinder models.
I use OEM parts never ebay. Does the lanyard for the kill switch attach to the ignition switch (black key) or is it a separate kill switch and ignition switch (silver key)?

I'm not near the motor for any serial numbers... But I'll try and get "Mark" to fill in all the questions... I'm just trying to fix his issues. He has been dealing with this gremlin for years. Even after several shop trips...

Yep just what I needed Mike. Relays are on the starboard side of the motor next to the voltage regulator. Relay part number 0584416 $17.99 each. Ignition switch is 5005801 $75.99 all parts from www.marineengine.com. The ignition switch has push on terminals and the lanyard slips over the key. Motor will start with the lanyard attached or not attached, it is designed that way in case the operator gets ejected with the lanyard attached to him, the passenger can start the motor and come to his rescue.
