Man I hope not ...... I have 9 of them in service in my boats.....
I looked for two months at numerous Sam's Clubs and couldn't find any, so I ended up going with an Odyssey 31 AGM...so far so good.

Group 31 batteries are hard to come by right now.

That same battery is sold under different labels at many retailers. Even if Sam's stopped selling them they would probably be available elsewhere.

Sam's Duracell, Deka Intimidator and O'Reilly Auto Parts Super Start Marine are all 3 made buy East Penn Manufacturing and are the exact same battery just a different label. The biggest reason for a price difference is the amount the company buys from East Penn and the warranty price they put into the battery. As for the battery itself all 3 are identical except for the price...
Here is a O'Reilly and Deka side buy side and I can assure you they look just like the Sam's Duracell and have identical power and reserve capacity rating...Sam's least expensive O'Reilly in the middle and Deka most expensive. Check with O'Reilly Auto Parts and have them get you a battery if you can't get one at Sam's.

The Sam's around here don't have them either. Went to O-Rileys and got them next day bu noon.

Every battery manufacturer is having issues currently.
The Autozone group 31 marine battery has better specs and is only like $20 more.

It is not even on the Sams website anymore
They are shown on the Sam's Club website and my local has 3 in stock. They were out of stock for over 6 months. I had the Duracell 31 AGM in my previous boat that lasted almost 8 years.
IIRC it was reported on here how Deka is way behind due to supply chain issues and personnel. They had to cut back in certain battery types to makeup on others.
I snagged a few fresh ones at my local Sams a few weeks ago

Crazy how certain Sam's has the Duracell others don't. My local O'Reilly's only showed the battery I bought available in a group 31 AGM three weeks ago.
