Heaven Hill recently updated the bottle, but most importantly upped the proof point. It's not going to knock your socks off but it is a VERY solid pour at a great price point. If you like the 1783 I would give the EW BIB a try. Little bit higher proof but still a great value.

EW 1783 is kinda "flat" to me. Not sure what the proof rating is on it, but I could go and compare it to Buffalo Trace. BT has a little bite on the tip of the tongue that is almost like carbonation, and I like it that way.
Don't bother me, I'm screwing for virginity.

I killed a 12-pack just to watch it die.

Tastes great and the price is right. Less than 20 bucks a bottle here.

Seen a bottle today but I went to this particular package store to grab a bottle of Four Roses Single Barrel because they're about $12 cheaper. I'll have to grab one in the next few days for a weekday pour.

Good luck finding Buffalo Trace around here unfortunately.

EW bib is one of, if not the best value priced bourbons on the market right along with Elijah Craig.

EW Single Barrel is great if you like a wheated bourbon. Doesn’t have the pronounced rye spice, but a great sipper. It’s around a $25 bottle here locally.

All of Evan Williams value versions are just tremendous values for the money. BIB, Black, and the 1783. Not a fan at all of the green? As well... They have been a pretty solid supporter of professional bass fishing over the years also.

It used to be my favoite value priced Bourbon
These days I'd put the Jim Bean double oak ahead of it.
But it's a very good bottle for the price point

EW SiB is not a wheated bourbon. The mash bill may be lower in rye, but it is a corn/rye/malted barley mash.

Heaven Hill's wheated line includes Bernheim (not a bourbon, but a wheated whiskey), Larceny & Old Fitzgerald. Some of the Parker's Heritage Collection have been wheated, but that changes from year to year.
