    Fuel Additive

    What’s a good fuel additive if you suspect you purchased some bad gas with water in it?

    disconnect your fuel line from the motor and use the primer bulb to dump the tank into a gas can....

    Run it through a water separating filter. I set up a Racor one for dealing with the two-stroke toys that sit around too much, but the funnels appear to work as well.

    If you got water in your gas (unlikely) you will know it in the first gallon you use. Water goes to the very bottom of the tank instantly where the fuel pickup is located.

    I've heard a lot of people swear by HEET for water in fuel.

    Heat is ethanol. It will absorb so much water. Then when it reaches the saturation point you will get phase separation. You dont want that
