Do you drink your tap water ?

We’re on city water and while it’s not been deemed unsafe in any way, we use a PUR 1 gallon filter jug dispenser that sits on the fridge shelf. What are the rest of you doing ?

tap water for coffee, tea, etc. and cooking, no problems.
drinking water comes thru the fridge (filtered) or cold bottled from the garage fridge.
i would also drink from the tap without any concern..

straight from the tap. we have good water in these parts. but in all fairness, I've eaten too many mystery nuggets and gas station taquitos to begin questioning the tap water.

After they started talking toilet to tap down here, I started buying water for drinking, and making stuff with. I just don't want to chance it. Plus so many old pipes are regularly breaking through the neighborhood. And City workers replace up to the meter like they did here in 2017 when my feed started leaking under the road. So I just play it safe.

Yes and ours tastes great, even visitors say so. We do have a refrigerator that has a built in filter plus an in line filter.

I have a well, first the water goes through a filter, then the iron is removed, then through a water softener and finally past a UV lamp. But I don’t drink it from the tap, instead I use the cold water dispenser in the fridge that has the water going through one more filter. Tastes great! Cost me a freaking fortune!

Poured into a Bria filter jug. Hartford Ct has good water also which is where we get ours from.

Yes, Mississippi River is our source. Plenty of filtration before it exits the tap.
