    torx screw alternatives/replacment

Is there a source for some of the various torx screws used throughout Skeeters? I'm missing at least one under a rod locker that I know of so far.

Reading back I see suggestions for matching up at Lowes or ordering from McMaster/Carr - so there is nothing "special" about the screws Skeeter uses - ie no odd pitch or shoulder, etc?

I also noticed previous owner (or shop that worked on boat in past) has replaced the rear quarter panel deck screw with Phillips head screws, which seem too long for the purpose. Not sure that it matters, but would like to replace those as well so all is as it should be :). Can anyone advise the proper length of one of the removable rear deck lid torx screw?

Just take one out and then take to your local hardware store and match it up. I think they are about an inch long on my boat.

Will do, thanks. yeah mine are closer to 2". I'll grab a front deck screw and one of the rear screws and head to HD/Lowes. Heck they might normally be the same screw now that I think about it...
