Oil reservoir cap cracked under the cowl (Promax 225) and flooded the motor with about 1/2 gal of oil. What's the best way to de-oil it without getting it in the butterflies or electronics? Oil quirted everywhere!! Thanks.

I would just wipe it down. If you want to go farther, you could cover / plug the air intakes, lightly spray something like Simple Green, and rinse. As 2 Stroke oil is water soluble.
