    189/18 TrX seat raise project

Although only 3/4”, I managed to raise the driver and the passenger seat using HPDE marine board.

You could use thicker board to raise more but then the engineering might get a little more complex. The seats come out pretty easily and have a nice aluminum frame.

I did have to drill new 1/8” holes in the fiberglass to accommodate the screws for the bracket under the front of the seats. I filled the old holes with fiberglass resin.

Again, not a huge difference but it is an improvement in visibility over the console for short people and comfort as well.

I've been thinking about raising mine up a little. I'm getting older and getting up from such a low seat is anything but graceful. I may wait till winter season, start to finish how long did the project take?

Not including acquiring parts and materials somewhere between 2-4 hours install time. PM me if you want any details of the materials I used.
