You'll get a better answer I'm sure, but this tool is great to have.
https://www.glerl.noaa.gov/res/glcfs...e=eri&var=temp
Choose the lake, choose the type of view, static or animation and use the color graph on the right to help identify color/temp readings.
This time of year using the "Animation" function, allows you to see "warm" spots/eddys and use that as a tool to determine which areas of the lake may have active schools of fish, Smallies in our case, following along in the warmer eddys (Comfort Zones) as it moves, or just increase activity of the fish in the area where it is currently shown.... just to get you "Thinking out of the box"
Coast Watch is better but they've been down with some problem for months. http://www.coastwatch.msu.edu/ontario/o2.html
