I just picked up my boat (98 Champion 221/DCX) with a new 250 SHO. I also installed a Bob's hydraulic jack plate. What should be my initial prop to pad measurement? Also, can someone refer me to where the link for how to measure prop to pad is? Thanks to everyone on here.
Prop to pad is in the stickies up top I believe.

3.5" is the starting point I believe.
I would start at 4” since you got a hydraulic plate. You will probably end up between 3.5-3”
