Trailer Tire Replacement 215/65 R17?

Looking for a new set of trailer tires for my 2018 Z520L. Current tire size is 215/65 R17 Kenda Kenetica. Any recommendations?

I went with the Goodyear Assurance MaxLife that have the 51 lb. max inflation pressure and they have been great.

get a USA made car tire in a touring configuration works great on basscat!!! i just got 5 yokahama touring tire, USA made for a good deal

You have very few options on an ST rated 17” tire. Mine came with Kendas and so far so good, 3 years and about 10,000 miles. My Goodyear dealer told me not to replace with a passenger car tire but obviously many are doing that.

I have a 2018 520L also. I have spent the last few years fighting excess tire ware because of Ranger not putting the proper tires on there Trailers (215/65/r17) IMO. I just spent a bucket of money having the trailer checked out by a competent dealer. It was determined that the 4ply passenger car tires on the trailer were not up to load capacity of the load of the boat and eq. I have on now a set of Kenda's ST215/65/R17 6ply purchased from ETrailer.

Yup....no trouble with my passenger tire Kendas on my trailers. Lots if miles

I hope you have better luck than myself and others have with those Chinese bombs.

Bass Cat uses P tires for all their dual axle trailers and have been for years. Same torsion axle, hubs that Ranger uses as well. You also cannot currently purchase a Kenda and from a good source Ranger is shipping trailers with Milestar Weatherguard AS720 XL tires due to the lack of Kenda tires.

I need a couple tires from the two that had tread separation past couple of months, will most likely go with Michelin Defenders.

I went with the General Altimax RT43 which is the same tire Basscat uses. So far so good. Either these or the Defenders are a much better tire than the Kenda's IMO. Good luck with what you buy!

Attended the recent 1000 Island Elite Series, Had a New Ranger 2022 520R on display checked the tires and they were the Milestar AS710Sport 215/65/17. Decal on the jack stand indicating 50 psi.

I've been running Goodyear Endurance and very happy with them so far ,single axle and they seem to be much better than any I've run before on my trailer.Going on the 3rd season all is well running at 55lbs cold

best tire out there for trailers but not made in all the needed sizes
