    FedEx employees

Have you ever met a happy one? The driver who delivered some new electronics today threw the box from at least 6 feet away to my slate door step. Fortunately the receiver survived but my video shOwed a hurried and “I don’t give a damn” employee. I know he’s on the clock and a gps monitored tracking system. But I wish vendors would not use them.

Good to hear. Atlanta area traffic can’t be fun.

my local UPS guy and my regular fed-ex guys are both good, the UPS guy even gives me crap about knowing if it's fishing junk which house it goes to on his route, i have invited him fishing a time or two and he is like a lot of other people has a lot going on including his current health issues, says he'll be retiring soon, hoping we get half as good in a replacement i guarantee he hustles everyday and I have never seen him in a foul mood

The majority of our delivery is the local franchise and they do a excellent job. Packages are always delivered to the location I’ve requested.

FedEx burns me to the core here. I’ve had so many broken or lost items. UPS on the other hand, does great around here. Some places allows me to pick the carrier and others does not. From my own personal experience, I’ll take UPS.

Most of the ones I've had delivering from whoever. Seem nice and happy but there's about 13% percent of them. That no matter what they'll never be happy or care about their job.

My sentiments exactly. Express employees are actually employed by FedEx. FedEx Ground is a franchise where guys buy routes and hire their own employees as contract laborers. Everything from professionalism to safe driving overall is better with Express than Ground. Sure both get a lemon here and there but Ground keeps theirs.

We used to have a member here that owned several FedEx routes (Eric?) He seemed pretty damn happy trotting all over the US fishing every day.

    It’s 12.46%…rounding up was a clear exaggeration , imo

Based on how I have recorded some of my packages being delivered, one could describe local drivers as “pilots”. More like drone pilots for how far they sent my packages in flight to the door.
