    Packing Boat/Truck for trip

Starting to get some of my stuff together and ready for a trip to St. Lawrence next month and it had me thinking, what do you always bring/pack on a long fishing road trip?

Spare set of BEARINGS and grease SEAL/Grease. Along with tools to change them while on the side of the road.
I have found if you have them with you ...... you never have a problem. How ever if you DON'T you will wish you had at 4 in the morning when NOTHING is open.

A extra spare for the trailer is never a bad idea. Plus tools and a jack.

My truck has the 8' bed and I add a shelf in the front third with the 2x4s in the bed liner slots and plywood. I have a cap on my truck. I can carry all that stuff up there and have the rest of the bed available for tackle, boat cover, luggage, etc.

Been Lucky so for . Don't travel far these days . But If i was going on long trip i would take it and have a routine check up.
I'll take a floor jack and few 2short peice of 2x6 or 8 to level the jack on uneven ground and make sure the spare in good shape .
