So anybody have this problem? My trailer is a 2019. How can I repair this? Or should I get some of those spiral wrap and just wrap around the current setup? I want to protect the wires inside.

Yep, mine didn't last year. Vexus sent me a replacement, that one is doing fine so far.

You should get a good idea by looking into the swing hinge area when opened.

If it's like a Phoenix MM, the end of that cable has a connector on it and is stashed somewhere inside the trailer frame. No splicing necessary. Mine looks way worse than that, wires are exposed.

I sent them a message on their contact us webpage 2 days ago and so far nothing. Asked if the part is readily available and if so by who so I can order a replacement.
Not sure if I want the same one if it'll crack after 3 years though.
I bought one off amazon after one of my dogs chewed it into, basically plug and play.

Is that the right one? I couldn't disconnect the connection to inspect how many pins it is. Had a ziptie holding the connection together. IIRC the connector has 8 wires connected to the back of tye plug.
Yes its the right one at least it was for mine.
