    test

I have a 16ft. Tracker jon boat setup for electric only reservoirs in my area. I’ve been using (3) 12v agm’s in series to power a transom mounted 36v TM & tapping (1) battery to supply 12v to my switch panel [bilge- 1.4A, aerator- 2.5A, nav. lights- 1.5A]

    I just ordered (1) Ionic 36v 50ah LI to replace my 3 agm’s.

Q: Is there a way to get 12v from a single 36v battery to supply power to my 12v switch panel devices and 36v TM?

I was considering something like this DC-to-DC buck stepdown converter regulator to take 36Vdc down to 12Vdc. Just not sure if it will work the way I have drawn it up, or if there is a better way other than adding another 12v battery just for switch panel devices.

At the bow I have a 24v50ah for TM, and a 12v50ah for clean power to electronics [Carbon16/AT/Point1+nmea].
