    Trim guage

    I recently had a 2008 250 proxs sn:1b705057

    I replaced it with a 2016 250 proxs sn:<2b125549>

    It's on a 2009 nitro z9 cdc

Prior to the swap the trim guage worked great. Now it wont work. Is this a analog vs digital thing? Or do I need to do something else? The wiring harness was not changed during the swap.

Check to see how many wires the trim sender has.

    1 or 2 wires: Analog.

    3 wires: Digital.

Either would need to be connected to the wiring harness properly- up by the oil pump (inside the cowling).

The engine you described as 1251p73bd- that's a Model#. Serial Number will be a 1B123456 or 2B123456 type of number.
