Helix 7 G4N & Ipilot Link go to cursor question

I recently installed Helix 7 G4N and Ipilot link 36V 60” Terrova.
When in side scan mode I move the cursor to a spot and hit goto, then hit spotlock.
The Ipilot takes a very aggressive path to the spot at speed 10. Sometimes it is almost straight reverse and the ipilot oscillates back and forth while the boat is in reverse. When I attempt to lower the speed it seems to disable navigation. Is there a way to slow down the ipilot when navigating to cursor via spot lock command?

I came up with a workaround for this. I turn the boat around before activating spot lock to the cursor in side scan view. Avoids full reverse
