    Oneida water temps

    hi all...any idea on the water temps for Oneida Lake, is there usually much difference between Sylvan Beach area and the Oneida River?

    sounds about right. I was fishing a very small lake (1 mile long) that’s close to Oneida and surface temps were 52-55

    As a side note, a bud of mine guides on Oneida, and is crushing them pretty good right now.

    hello all..just got back from a 3 day trip.....had 30 fish days, most smallies 2-4lbs range with a few touching 5lbs. We also mixed in a couple large mouths. Found a great place for lunch on the river called Wild Horse Bar and Grill.

    Heading up for Friday-Sun. What was the water temp? Are the fish getting shallow?

    Very well might head up myself Thursday through Sunday. Buddy of mine who has a lake house in the western bay said water temps have jumped a good bit. He said he saw some areas around 70..

    the river was 68, big bay was 65....most were between 3-8' ....3" swimbait on ball head jig took the most

    Water was mid 60's to start the weekend but made it you upper 60's after Saturdays' 90 degree temps. The fishing is on fire right now.
