Hey all, silly question but what is the seat base for at the start of the deck just infront of the storage box used for....?
coming from a ranger and the base on the step was to place the butt seat when cover was on but the bass cat seat is same height as the deck.
Third person use for families or guides. Also storage of pedestals when not in use fishing so they are accessible. Many leave a butt seat in that pedestal in the event that wind or open water needs arise, then moving it to the bow. It does work to support covers also in some cases if the don’t use the stand posts.
