40 Hp Intermittent Spark

I have a low idle condition. Putting a timing light on #1 I get steady spark on #2 I get intermittent spark. When I ohm the stator I get two different readings between the brown pair 350 and orange pair 850. I suspect the stator is bad, but I when I swap all the leads on the coil, the intermittent spark still stays with #2.

Is it the stator or could it be the power pack? Swapping the coil leads and plug wires without the problem going to #1 has me confused.

After running through the factory manual and tests again, the stator (brown wires per test) is within ohm spec. It's the trigger. A,B terminals are not with in spec while B,C terminals are.
