I have a 106sv with a gt56 on my hobie outback and I really love it. Using it with a 30AH lithium battery. Keep the ff on the front hatch with the battery inside the hatch. Works great for me.

by the time i add the gt54 i can get it cheaper direct from garmin
you guys with the gt56 i assume you have the high-wide sonar and not the mid chirp?

Wowwwww. That’s a sweet rig. I have my 106sv on the track Mount in front of the H-rail. The ram mount is pointing my direction and I still have to lean forward to touch the screen. I LOVE the set-up you have with the H-rail, but with my short arms, I’d be having to lean way forward all the time. But I DO like the set-up.
its currently got a lowrance on it with forward facing sonar as well. ill leave it for now. I got lucky. this yak was used by dugout at this year's classic for a demo of what they could do so it's loaded.
once i get the unti dialed in i don't do much adjustment so i hope that position works out. i like thats it out of the way of my casting and landing
Oh yeah. . . I got Kayak Kushion For Christmas. Wow! ! ! That’s like sitting on a cloud. I am going to get one for my back to help me sit forward in the seat better. I also bought one of those mounting boards that goes in the front hatch to mount the GLS10. I just am still waiting on the unit. The company I ordered from now says June 17. Sheeeeeesh.
How are you going to manage the black box and LVS wiring?
its in the front hatch with the fpv power distribution hub on a tim percy mounting plate

all the lights and electronics are running off of 2 fpv power 17.5am lithiums on a dual battery mount

I am running Dual 93Sv UHD on my 2020 PA 14- 360. One has Panoptix and one regular sonar. I have them both mounted on my right hbar next to my Torqeedo throttle. I was close enough to the screens I didnt need anything bigger. I did make my own mount for the transducer that I can pan and tilt. Thats on my left side.
