2017 fx21 squeaking deck

Hi all .. have a new to me fx 21 . The front deck is creaking when walking on it ( mostly centre compartment lid)and I had read somewhere that it’s most likely due to the aluminum deck rubbing on the fibreglass compartment panels I don’t have the option of taking to a dealer as purchased privately in the US and I’m in the great white north.. has anyone had this issue and have a fix that worked for you ?? Might find some info here. When I worked at a dealership, we had to fix one, but all I remember about it was ithad something to do with weather stripping and double sided tape.
