If you go out fishing for the first time and can't figure out why your 2d is not working, check to make sure your sonar is not turned off after doing some work downloading waypoints in the middle of winter. Turns out it wasn't the dead mouse I found in the boat.
I'd quietly turn on my sonar and still blame the mouse!
I will say I have had plenty of true glitches/errors/repairs that had to happen with Humminbird Products.
So when I was out on the water and I power up, ....thinking my unit is broken again....
I spent an hour fishing before realizing sonar was also turned off on that unit, as I too was doing some updates in the garage.
I will say 1/2 of it is me forgetting i turned sonar off. The other 1/2 is that i have to cross my fingers every time i take my boat out that the ultrex built in MDI is still working, and the hub is still sharing data.
etc etc.
I too have many mice in my head apparently.
