RIP, sir. If you haven't read his book Bass Boss I highly recommend it.
He was weighmaster at a B.A.S.S. Open that I fished and when I weighed in he treated me as if I were one of the "names" in Bass fishing and I'll always remember that.
Such a huge loss. One of my all time favorite people. He impacted my life in many ways and still does. Thankful I got to meet him and be around him a few times. He was larger than life and a true pioneer. So thankful for all he has done for bass fishing. I hope he is resting easy and no longer in pain or suffering. To me he was a great man and I wish his family peace in this difficult time.
I met him once at a show and he talked with me like he'd known me all my life. RIP Ray

RIP sir
Wow, I thought he died years ago. I met him once at a restaurant. A nice guy he was nice enough to take time to chat for a few minutes.
when you see this on the water stop and say hi.
The "Bass Boss", met him at the Toronto Sportsman show many years ago, signed my book and kept my friends and I laughing for at least 25 minutes with jokes and stories, RIP Mr. Scott.

RIP Ray. We sat down one day and had a discussion about starting carp tournaments
