Plastic Pee hole assembly stuck. Hmmmmm.

All. Thanks in advance. I have a 96 200 hp evinrude that got a little clogged up. I went to pull the pee hole and empty it and I can’t get the dang thing out. The plastic nut is seized or stuck in there. Here is the good news. In an emergency I popped the cap off of the actual pee hole part so it would move water. Good news. I ordered the replacement parts. Bad news. The plastic nut that holds it all in place seams stuck in there. I’m thinking about cutting a grove in it and then use something like a huge flathead and try this out. What do you all think?

13/16" socket should get it out with no damage. Slip the socket over the nut and a few taps with a dead blow hammer should do it.

Yah I tried that already. The socket heads slips when the rubber or plastic housing of the whole assembly gibes a little.
