I will try to be brief. My GF is downstairs talking to her neices 17 year old daughter. She is trying to save this kid from becoming a third generation addict. Both the kids grandparents succumbed to addiction during the opioid epidemic around 2009. Her mother has married an addict and is losing control of her life. The 17 year old live's with her father who is 12 years clean and sober. He divorced the kids mother years ago to save himself. He reached out this week for help with his kids to save them from their mother. All I can add is what a Fn nightmare.
