    Need some harsh criticism

Been thinking about trying macro photography, raining out so no bird walk so no better time. Using my wifes orchid I took this one, have some thoughts of opportunities to improve but would like some other points of view.

Have you looked into focus stacking? I'm not a good macro photographer at all, but I started playing with it and have been reading about stacking in post. Outside of that the image looks flat to me. Maybe changing the angle up to try and get more depth would help the composition
