    prop

What would be the best prop for a 2005 200 v maxx on a tr20 triton. I have a 25m on it now but not getting alot of top end speed.

Need the following posted or you aren't likely to get a lot of responses.

    Prop to pad measurement
    Jackplate yes or no
    Wide open rpm
    Wide open mph

the "m" wasn't really meant for speed. 25 might be a little big for the 200. if your rpm's are in a good range maybe try to get your hands on a 25p FXP, Yamaha T2, OR mercury Tempest 25

I've seen many Yamaha Stainless Pro Series M get with it in MPH. I would think the 25M would work well, providing that boat setup is correct.

The "M" Pro Series is a fast prop. In most cases faster than a tempest plus.

You might need to raise the motor mounting bolts. Depends where it is now.
