My CMC Jackplate quit working after 8 years. When I hit the blinker switch I can hear it click at the jackplate but nothing happens. Is this most likely a bad actuator?
My CMC Jackplate quit working after 8 years. When I hit the blinker switch I can hear it click at the jackplate but nothing happens. Is this most likely a bad actuator?

Same issue with mine about a year ago and about the same lifespan. I could press on the power wire or flex it a bit right where it entered the pump and it would work for a few trips and then lose contact again. Its actually not as tough to swap out as it seems. I would unhook the relay and send 12V to the pump motor and make sure its not a bad relay.
