Lake Mead drought and the Las Vegas mob

I have been living on Lanier for the last 4-years and its been at full-pool all 4 years. The year before I moved to GA it was like 22' low. So it comes and it goes!

Lake Mead looks so barren and lifeless.

I remember a few years back whenever I was fishing lake Lanier in Georgia on a regular trip every year. I heard a specialist on national news talk about how unbelievably low the levels were in lake Lanier. He stated that with just a little above record rain fall each year the lake would still take over 10 years to get back to normal pool. Well a certain ALL MIGHTY above must have heard this extremely educated and highly confident person from the scientific community. I think he wanted to make an example out of this scholarly scientific fellow and the rains came. In less than 6 weeks lake Lanier was full and if I remember correctly they had to let more water out because levels were too high. 2 big rain storms did the trick.

While it sucks for those that need it, it is also very interesting and beautiful as it fall. Everything goes in cycles. The water willl return one day. Has there been any news coverage of other items spotted since the water dropped? Drink cans? Bikes?
