    Bent prop shaft

    How hard is it too change out a prop shaft on a 250 sho? Bent mine Sunday on a stump.

    The issue will be finding one. I was out of commission 2 months last year waiting on one (called all around the country in the meantime). I went ahead and got a spare just in case it happens again.

    That is not comforting.

    Well just like John said. There seem to be none in the country. Mechanic said they are supposed to arrive from Japan on June 3rd so we will see if that is the case. Going to be $1000 to get it changed out.

    I got an aftermarket from this place. Might be worth checking out. Professional opinion was that they were just as good as the branded one. I have both and could not see any differences. https://www.ebay.com/itm/273350496365

    Got lucky and the mechanic called and it made it already. Now just got to get the boat to him to be fixed.
