AVX 2080 Trim switch

I just bought a blinker trim switch for my AVX 2080. Has anyone done this and where are the wires located that you splice into?
Do I have to open up the panel where the shifter is to locate them?
Any help would be great

I put one on my 1880.
Yes you will need to remove the side panel to access the trim wires. Its been a minute so I dont remember the wire colors. Its a bit of a job to get this done but well worth it.

green - down
red or a purple for the 12 volts
