Low Voltage Alarm
2010 Mercury Pro XS 200HP, model #1200P73EY, S/N 1B766163, 736 hours
Battery is a brand new Duracell AGM group 31
I have been getting a low voltage alarm on my SmartCraft gauge at the end of the day when I run back to the ramp. Thinking something is preventing the alternator from charging the battery while running during the day? It's reading 12.8 volts in the morning, but at the end of the day without running livewells or anything it's down to 11.7 volts. When I try and get on plane it drops down to 11.4 volts and then if I try and go faster the voltage will drop down to 11.2 and the alarm will go off. It stays around 11.7 - 11.8 volts just idling. I have a separate battery for my electronics so they don't draw from the starting battery.
A little over a year ago I had the fuseable link blow due to miswiring the battery. The link was replaced and all seemed good...could my current problem be related?
Thanks!

Seems I could have searched this forum for this issue...

Your voltage should read 14.2 or so when engine is running.

If the voltage at the large RED WIRE output terminal on the alternator is HIGH when idling (above 14.8 VDC), the fusible link lead is likely blown.

Thanks, testing it today...

It was the fuseable link that was blown...thanks for the help!
