    Will a Single 36v Ionics Battery Fit in My Battery Compartment?

    Does anyone know the dimensions of the battery compartment in a 482vs? I’m thinking about running a single 36v battery, but don’t know if it will fit?

    Each battery manufacturer lists the battery dimensions on their web site. Check out the battery you want,then measure your bilge area. I think most 36 lithiums are about the same size as 31 agm so it would most likely fit.

    I just put a 12v 125ah Ionic in my boat and had plenty of room. The footprint is a group 31, I'm sure the 36v should be the same. Just remember you'll need a separate charger for the singe 36v lithium....

    Fewer connections to TM, and from what I understand, a little more efficiency in battery performance. Also, my battery compartment cannot hold 3 batteries, but it can fit this one battery. I do have to get a new charger, but Ionics took care of me on that, too.
