    Small bass boats

Which manufacturer made and sold small glass boats in the past? I know Ranger made a 15' in the past and Skeeter made a few as well.

not sure how small your talking but Champion made a great 17' boat, a friend of mine bought one brand new in 1991 still owns it and its like new, for a 17' boat it ride great and he has had it in very rough conditions

BassCat 1500Vee. A 700 lbs. boat rated for 100HP that would run like a scalded dog with a Mercury 90 on the back. Mine was Orange and White. “Real” Orange. Orange carpet, orange seats, orange everything. 12volt Eagle hand guided TM on the front.
Had the distinct privilege of meeting BCB owner Ron Pierce the day I bought it. He was holding a one man boat show at Clem Marine in Texarkana.
I didn’t realize I was joining the BassCat family that day in 1979. 43 years later, and I still remember that day clearly, and I’m still driving Cats.
I met and spoke with him half dozen times over the years after that at various outdoor events, or when he came to town to stop by Clem’s or
Ark-La-Tex Marine. He always remembered me and that Orange boat he convinced me to buy. Even the last time I spoke with him in 2012 at the BassMaster’s Classic. He just grinned real big when I approached him, shook my hand, and then tried to sell me the 20 footer he was leaning against.

We have a few guys in my club fishing out of smaller boats. One is in a 16’ tracker Rick clunn edition, another guy in my club fishes out of a 15’ javelin. There was an old member who had a 14’ bass boat but I’m not sure of the brand.

I have a 2004 Bumble Bee 254. I bought it last year when I was looking for a smaller aluminum boat. It's a great little boat! I use it quite a bit when I don't want to take the big boat out.

Back in the first bass boat days a Monarch was about the only option.

I currently fish from a 16 1/2 foot Javelin. The boat fishes good, just not up to modern standards on storage.

I had a Procraft 1560 with Johnson V4 115 h.p. and it was orange (bought from a friend who was a Florida Gator fan ).

That little boat was wide for the length and fished great and would run 54-55 mph. Really enjoyed it.

I had a 16ft Glastron in 1986 and liked it a lot. Then an 18ft ranger which was nice. Then an 18 1/2 Champion which was awesome. Now a 98 Champion 221 that is currently in the shop having a new 250 SHO put on it. This is the boat I'll die with. The Glastron was great though for the size if you can find one. It had a 150 I think

My dad had a 15' Dyna Trak and a buddy of ours had a 16'8" Dyna Trak. These were good boats. Shame they aren't around any more.
