In over my head on 95 200 XRI

Motor has been bullet proof for the 2 years I’ve owned it. Fishing Rayburn the other day, get to my spot and everything is good. Go to move and I’ve got no fire to any cylinder. It has been completely intermittent. Will run for 3 hours then won’t crank. It isn’t just when it’s warm. 50/50 at any moment.

I have replaced both switch boxes, the trigger, and the key switch. I have bypassed ignition system (tilt switch, kill switch, etc) and problem was still intermittent. I took an ECU off a 150 XRI and it didn’t work. I Ohmed out the stator and everything ohmed correctly on it, but I don’t have a DVA meter so can’t check peak voltage.

I took it to a shop and it ran the whole time I was there so the mechanic was like there’s nothing I can do.

I’m at a loss and don’t want to just start throwing new parts at it. Any help would be appreciated.

Have you tried to test the stator when it's not firing?

It still OHMs out fine when not firing, but I don’t have a DVA meter to test peak voltages.
