H18 W /150 PRO XS
I have a 2015 h18 with 150 pro xs at the moment I have a 23 Fury prop. 10" jack plate. The only way I can get any bow lift is 5.5 below pad. Looks like most are running 3.5 any ideas what's going on. I'd like to get alittle more out of it. Running 59 at 5700 rpms

2021 X 18 with F 150 Yamaha, 6" manual plate, Power Tech OFX 23p, 5900 rpms, 58 mph on a good day, 59.6 once and 60.3 once and I get plenty of bow lift. Somewhere between 3.5 and 4 inches ptp. Tempest Plus prop was recommended to me but have not tried to get one yet. Don't know that its worth the money to try and get another 1-2 mph out of it and its pretty good as is.

I had an H18 with a 150 yammi 4 stroke 6'' jack plate at one time. The tempest plus was the best running prop I found on that setup. It was a totally different boat with that prop.

I've ran a yahama 25m with close to the same results.

I believe the Fury's are noted that they like to be ran deeper on the plate. I ran an H18 for 12 years and the best prop I ran was Turbo TXP 23. That prop was made to be jacked up. If I had to do it again? The Turbo probably needed to be a 22 pitch to get the RPMS up to the sweet spot. I was running a Yammy carbed 150 two stroke at 3 inches below pad. I was getting 5650 rpms and probably had it slightly over pitched. I also ran it pretty heavy as far as weight was concerned. I was running that prop on a 10 inch manual JP
