2008 198 Windshield

Contacted C&O about a windshield but their chart only went to 2005. Are they the same from 2005 to 2008?

Custom Mold & Tint made so many windshields for different boat manufacturers they have to have your old windshield or a template. C&O has done the research and has established part numbers with them and can order that way and keeps them in stock. You get OEM windshields without the wait.

My bet is that it is either 7W013 or 7W010 --> Shop Champion (candomarine.com)

Didn't hear anything back yet. Looking at more pics the 7W010 is the 300 Elite and the 7W013 isn't shaped the same. 7W921 Windshield - Smoked * Fits 2005: 188, 198, 206 Elite - this one might be it but the angle of the pic is bad, they need a front and side view also.

I don't remember if they changed consoles in the later years or stayed with the 206 style. I know the 210 and 200 were the same. They use the 7W010. Looking at pix on Google, the 2005 and 2008 look like they are the same windshield.

My 198 was built in Oct 2004 and has the newer style windshields. From then until end of model, the consoles and windshields were the same. The very first 2005 198s had the 2004 style. I am unsure of which month they changed to the newer style, but definitely somewhere between midsummer 2004 and Oct 2004.

My 2006 198 windshields do not have a "Black Band" around the bottom. My windshields are defiantly not the 7W010 style. They could be the 7W013 without the "Black Band", but I'd lean towards the 7W921.
