    Garmin Ultra Mounting Help!

    I mounted my new 106 on top of the console of my Tracker 175 Deep V. It shaking around bad when running. Everything seems tight. I guess its the plastic dash that is moving? Thought about putting piece of wood under dash but not sure that help if not supported. I kind of at a loss.

    That swing arm mount is sound. I’d say something else is vibrating. The weight of the graph and mount are fine but it’s the support structure of the boat that has different physical feature added to it.

    How bad is the console flexing? It's probably not very thick right there. At a minimum you need a backing plate.
