    RT188 Stereo install

Just finished installing my stereo in my 2020 RT188. Came out really good. Very pleased with the sound. Can’t wait to get it out on the water.

Nice job! I like to listen to ball games, etc when on the water. That looks like a very nice set up to do it and also a simple install. 👍

Not all of us all the time are using the boat just for fishing. Myself and I can bet many others, like to pull up to the sandbar and listen to music while having a few cold ones.

OH.... so you drink a few when you operate a boat????? That explains your DOUCHEBAG remark.

Nothing wrong with drinking a few, as long as you keep to a few. The douchebaggery is strong with this one.

I think you got my point. The guy was proudly showing off his newly installed stereo. How about "Nice work!", not "Are you fishing or having a dance?".

I did have an inspector in the boat afterwards.

I really didn’t think this was such a controversial subject. Plenty of new bass boats with the same speakers mine now has. There are plenty of times it’s nice to be in the quiet, but there are plenty of times some music or a game just fits.

Thanks, it was pretty simple, but doesn’t look too out of place.

It's only controversial with 1 poster in this thread.....and he's a moderator, of all things. I DO get where he's coming from as nobody seriously fishing wants to listen to rap at "11" on the volume meter.....it's obnoxious. However a ball game or George Strait at a reasonable level, well, that's another thing IMOP......😉

I use one of those lil Bluetooth "bricks" (actually have several) and they work great. However, on several occasions, I've been as close as you can get to pushing "buy" on a set up similar to yours..... on both Amazon and eBay..... as you can get.

I have a "stereo" in my Lund ( I bass fish with it), some people use their boat for other reasons besides fishing, a "tin boat moderator" should not respond to a post like that !

All took my response the wrong way. It was a JOKE. I guess i have to be more careful with folks that do not have a sense of humor.

No music. No bananas. Where do we draw the line lol

Nice install job. Super clean. I am thinking of installing some speakers in my 198p when I get the time. I use a speaker now but it is just one more thing to remember to grab. Would like a permanent setup like that.
